Payman Simoni Credentials
Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Payman Simoni attended YU undergraduate college in New York received
a
double
major in Biology and Jewish history and philosophy. He received his M.D.
degree with special distinction in research at Albert Einstein College of
medicine in New York.
Dr
Payman Simoni completed his General Surgery internship at the university of
Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr Simoni then completed Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery Residency
at at the
university of Alabama at Birmingham. During this period, he was allowed to
perform a junior fellowship with The American Academy of Facial Plastic and
Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr
Payman Simoni then served as the chief resident which he was trained and
performed complex surgical procedures.
Upon completion of his otolaryngology and head and neck surgery training, Dr
Simoni successfully achieved board certification in Otolaringology.
Working
under Dr Artemus Cox and Dr. Gaylon McCollough stimulated him to pursue a
sub-specialized career in Facial Plastic surgery. Dr Payman Simoni
received training under multiple national giants of the plastic surgery field to
receive his board certification in Facial Plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr Simoni has attended numerous international plastic surgery meeting to exchange knowledge of the fast growing plastic surgery specialty.
Dr. Simoni has over 12 years of experience and is Double-board-certified by the
American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Board
of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. Dr Payman Simoni has two unrestricted
active medical licenses in the states of New York and California.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and reconstructive Surgery. He is also a published author who has written numerous scientific studies and abstracts on plastic surgical procedures.
Dr. Payman conducts numerous seminars arround the country. He has lectured
