Heidi Montag- More Surgery?
Heidi Montag was photographed on her recent Costa Rica Vacation with a suspicious tape over her nose, leading many to question if she had gotten yet another nose job. After the strange photos of her on the beach wearing the tape and a splint hit the web, Montag took to her own defense with the following statement; “Except for filming and a few photo shoots, I’ve had my nose tape on 24 hours a day since November. It takes a year for your nose to heal. This is just the first photo that anyone has seen of it. The last time I didn’t wear tape after surgery and my nose changed shape. The tape is supposed to keep the swelling down and hold my nose in place the way Dr. Ryan (celebrity plastic surgeon) sculpted it. Dr. Ryan always said I was his best, most cautious patient, and I’m not taking any chances now that he’s gone. I don’t want my face to fall off like Michael Jackson’s.” Beverly Hills Rhinoplasty specialist Dr. Payman Simoni does not recommend wearing tape that long after a nosejob. He adds, “The tape will actually increase the skin swelling, it in fact hinders the healing process due to the constant putting on and pulling off.” Montag also stated how she is however looking for a doctor in Costa Rica to reduce her breast size slightly from her current G cup to a D or Double D. Dr. Simoni recommends finding a doctor in the US and the more local the better.” You don’t want to have to keep flying to a different country for your follow-ups, it would be an extreme inconvenience for your post-op care”
